Tom Alvarez

I am a cartoon illustrator, art teacher, author, and college professor looking to enhance other's lives.

Cartoons were a major influence on me as I was growing up as was all types of technology. Often times I would lose myself in the panels of a comic book or watching cartoons on TV. I had combined art and technology throughout my education. I am currently an elementary school art teacher as well as a college art professor. Most of my life has been creating art and teaching others how to do the same. I wrote a book on creating comics and am continuing my writing with a mystery series: Sherlock Jr.
