It's Possible

I am a director and writer with a background in both feature and television that include productions with Sony, Marvel, MTV, Concorde/New Horizons and an array of independent feature production houses.

I am very much a "glass half full" kind of guy and continue to believe that anything is possible. People fault me for my enormous patience and capacity to listen which I'll take over being stingy or having bad breath. I have traveled some to make movies and hope to do a lot more in the future.

As for "breaks", you can say directing under the Roger Corman banner was one, getting the opportunity to write Spider-Man, the animated series with a really terrific team at Sony was another. Truthfully, I think a terrific career is made up of a series of "breaks" with one piled on top of the other, on top of the other -- you get the idea. My goal is to continue to take advantage of many, many more of these fortuitous opportunities until the big writer/director in the sky ultimately writes the final, Fade Out.

I am originally from New York's Snow Belt native but call Baltimore, Maryland my hometown. I received my bachelors degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, attended a variety of master class film programs in L.A. but found Los Angeles City College’s film school most creatively inspiring. I won the feature film pitch festival Greenlight Night over 300 other storytellers with a script that is currently in its second act. There are a bunch of other accolades which are nice acknowledgements by my peers and audience that I am headed in a good direction. I am also an alumnus of the Los Angeles Jewish Federation’s Master Class in Filmmaking.

Philanthropically, I continue to support The Story Project (www.storyproject.org), a charity that provides the guidance and tools necessary for at-risk and under-served middle and high school students to better understand their own personal journey through the exploration of narrative storytelling.
