Born and living in Israel, Dalit started her educational path, studying music performance<br>and composition at Rimon, the highly acclaimed School of Contemporary Music in Israel.<br>At that stage she realized how intrigued she was by form and art, a subject she’s been<br>exploring since. She gained her first composing experience during her years in college.<br>It was a huge revelation. Her final concert was one of her significant life step stones that<br>influenced her path resolutions from then on. She realized that creating her own art is<br>what makes her happy. What gives her pure joy.<br><br>After graduating music school she started to travel. Then she to flew to<br>Boston, U.S. where she attended Lesley College in Cambridge and got her Bachelor of Arts in<br>Liberal Studies, Majoring in Music, exploring the connection of art and psychology.<br><br>Soon after graduating she went back to Israel and joined a <a id="_GPLITA_1" style="color:green;text-decoration:none;border-bottom:3px double" href="#" in_rurl="http://www.textsrv.com/click?v=SUw6MTE3MjA6NDcwOm5ldzo1ZTY5YWVjNjEwOGI1ZmQzNDYxZWQzYzNmYTJhZWJiMjp6LTUtOTM0Njp3d3cuaW5kaWVnb2dvLmNvbQ%3D%3D">new</a> initiative<br>establishing an alternative documentary women’s show called ‘Women’s Talk’. She soon<br>became one of two <a id="_GPLITA_2" style="color:green;text-decoration:none;border-bottom:3px double" href="#" in_rurl="http://www.textsrv.com/click?v=SUw6MTE3MjA6NDcwOndvbWVuOjI1ZGE4YjBhZWVjYmM0N2QzNTQ4YmVhMmFiMDk2ZWUzOnotNS05MzQ2Ond3dy5pbmRpZWdvZ28uY29t">women</a> producers who gathered a group of women, from different<br>parts of society, to collaborate together on the screen, creating a platform for various<br>voices to be heard. Ms. Ziv was doing that successfully for 5 years.<br><br>Attending a scriptwriting course at the Israeli film school Camera Obscura, in 2004,<br>brought her back to exploring art and form, this time via words.<br><br>While composing music and writing lyrics throughout the years she had been active in TV and<br>film projects. While music pieces kept piling up, she found a deep connection between<br>composing music and ‘composing’ scripts.<br><br>She cites the likes of John Coltrane, Philip Glass, PJ Harvey, and Israeli musicians Rockfour, and Talya Eliav as her inspiration and influences. <br>
