What can I tell you about me? I have been in Calgary my whole life, I came from a broken home growing up without a father was hard to say the least. We were very poor, our food was grown in the garden and we raised rabbits for meat. I started working when I was fifteen doing dishes, it was nice to buy my own clothes. From there it was a whole assortment of different jobs but once I started working building gas packages I knew I wanted to be a millwright, I did my four year apprenticeship then I became a journeymen. I loved my job and I did it for fifteen years, working on some of the largest gas turbines and engines on the planet. I was the lead of building a prototype gas package when I was injured, it wouldn't have been a career ending injury but the surgeon did the wrong surgery on me and it was never fixed. That was thirteen years ago.

I have been with the Calgary adopt a park program for seven years now, taking care of the little park behind our home, just hooking up sprinklers, watching out for vandalism and broken equipment. I was also the chairmen of the parent counsel comity for my Sons school the year the school board merged two schools and nobody wanted the job so I took it. As for my Son, He is my greatest accomplishment, He is a wonderful boy, a growing boy. He is smart, active, kind, outgoing with lots and lots of friends and our home full of his friends. He is not the best student but he is a go to guy for students and even teachers. Everyone wants better for their children, I have done everything in my control to see He gets what he needs. But things just keep getting worse and worse and we have nowhere else to turn so we decided to try this website.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this. It could change our life's forever.
Sincerely: Dean and Sloan
