Selina Thompson

My name is Selina Thompson, and I’m an artist and performer based in Leeds, UK, and Artistic Director of Selina Thompson Ltd.

I work largely in performance, but also extend my work to include installation and writing. I define myself as a live artist, or performance artist, and I create work that is political, urgent, playful and intimate; focused on how the politics of identity informs and defines our bodies, lives & societies. In the past three years I have shown work at Spill International Festival of Performance twice, The National Theatre Studio, The Royal Court, Forest Fringe and Fierce International Festival.
