I am the youngest of three from Danville VA. I have always had the heart to help others. When I was eight years old I can remember people asking me what I wanted to be when I grow up, and I would tell them I wanted to be a director ,a filmmaker.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>I made some difficult choices in my life, but I kept the vision of my dream and I continued to press forward. I watched doors open, and some of my dreams come to pass. <span style="">&nbsp;</span>I was raised by a single mother, whom is the strongest woman I know. When I was 22, I got my Ged and decided to began this journey of becoming a filmmaker.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>My sister suffered from a mental illness, so I had to take custody of her four kids . This was a challenge at such a young age, but I learned a lot from the kids, and I taught them how to live and press forward in this life, doing positive things.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>In the summer of 2012 ,I will have my bachelors degree in Arts. I will be able to create and work in the film industry as I have always wanted to since I was a child.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>I considered myself a strong will person, who strives to be the best in all that I do.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant since I was 17 years old, and I have learned a lot from the elderly.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Life has not always been the best, but as I wake up each day, I see that I have a second chance to make something great. I have learned to never give up and to have faith and life will fall into place for me. Some of the obstacle that Kimmi face are real life events that I had to over come, but just like Kimmi, I used the key to life, which was, and still is to just keep going. <br></p>
