I focus on mannerisms and strive to make the performers look like&nbsp;</font><u><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Geneva">people</font></u><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Geneva">&nbsp;and less like dancers. Often, I incorporate actors in my work in order to further display natural human behavior. I hope that by creating landscapes of relatable personas I can captivate audiences.</font></font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-left: 0in; "><font size="3"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Geneva">My last work,&nbsp;<i>Reality Sandwiches</i>, was grand-scale. It was a first-time collaboration with my brother, filmmaker, Joey Grossfield and premiered at Dixon Place in April 2010 as part of the BRINK series.&nbsp;<i>Reality Sandwiches</i>&nbsp;involved 25 actors with props, a solo performed by me, and Joey’s film, with the same title, playing on a TV onstage. In the Fall of 2010, I was asked to create a scene inside of RoseAnne Spradlin’s&nbsp;<i>blue liz / the sequel</i>. I have shown work at AUNTS, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, BRIC Studio, CATCH, DTW, Movement Research at the Judson Church, Office Ops rooftop in Brooklyn, and The Tank.&nbsp;</font></font><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium; "><font class="Apple-style-span" color="#000000"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Geneva">I was a 2008-2009 Fresh Tracks artist-in-residence at Dance Theater Workshop.&nbsp;</font></font></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-left: 0in; text-align: justify; "><font size="3"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Geneva">As a performer, I have had the honor of working with Chase Granoff, Natalie Green, Miguel Gutierrez, Mariah Maloney, Juliette Mapp, Christine Shallenberg, and Miriam Wolf. In 2003, while at SUNY Purchase, I commissioned Juliette Mapp to create a solo. I hold a BFA in Dance Performance from SUNY Purchase College.</font></font></p></span>
