Documentary/Travel Producer
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'American Typewriter'"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px">Cynthia Younker has over 20 years of experience as a storyteller. She is a soup-to-nuts producer with the skills to take on multiple responsibilities, from creative development, to budgeting, writing, field producing, directing and editing. Cynthia was most recently a senior staff producer at Equator HD, a travel/cultural channel that was broadcast in over 30 countries. During her five years at the network, she was the showrunner on several international series and documentaries. Her documentary credits include “The Day of the Dead” shot in Oaxaca, Mexico; “Semana Santa” shot in Antigua, Guatemala; and “Long Island’s Lighthouses” shot in New York. She has earned many prestigious awards, most notably five New York Emmy Awards for writing, producing and editing. Cynthia earned her undergraduate degree at Tisch School of the Arts/New York University.
