Art will always test your dedication. But dedication will always overcome.

Mark Drewe has been involved in the creative arts for many years; starting out in his final years of high school, where he produced shorts, he was accepted into the University of Western Ontario's film studies program. While in University, he started to understand the process of filmmaking, the artistry, and the theories that films have been created under, and desired to join that tradition.

He created two shorts while in school, one a drama about a relationship's struggles, and the second a horror involving two people trapped in a room while an unknown, destructive beast terrorizes outside.

After graduating University with an Honor's BA, Mark began to work as a freelance videographer/editor on various projects throughout the region - including a 30-piece produced for an AIDS-for-Africa charity event, numerous pieces for two regional museums in London and Elgin County, and a collection of promotional pieces for tourism boards and the research wing of a hospital, amongst others.

His freelance work eventually netted him a full-time position as a producer at Huge Ideas Video Productions, where he quickly rose up the ranks to run the department, becoming responsible for three cities worth of production work in southwestern Ontario.

However, the draw to the creative arts grew hungry, and in March of 2010 he formed the company Mosaic Mind Pictures Incorporated to feed that desire. After co-writing his first short script "Dana", a psychological film about a self-destructive love triangle, a series of positive reviews from established industry professionals convinced him to produce the short. As the director, editor, and executive producer of the project, Mark went to production on Dana in July of 2010, shooting it on a RED in London, Ontario. After a long editing process, Dana was completed in late April 2011, and has been submitted to prestigious film festivals across the world such as Cannes, TIFF, Sundance, and more.
