I’ve been a musician ever since I could pick up an instrument. It’s my favorite thing to do and be. And to me, writing a song is the ultimate creative pursuit. I absolutely love taking a tune or a melody, pairing it with a grand page of words, and seeing it grow and evolve into the song it becomes on record or on stage. There is a magic to it. A muse is definitely involved, something much bigger and greater than myself. It’s divine.
