<p>Hello, I'm Blake Powell and here's a little bit about me:</p> <p>My earliest experience with filmmaking was as a teenager when I would make 8mm movies with the neighbor kids. CINEMAGIC magazine, Don Dohler, John Dods and John Cosentino were all huge infulences on me when I was growing up.</p> <p>I am currently a commercial construction worker in eastern Iowa, it's not the greatest gig in the world but it pays the bills.&nbsp; I met my co-producer Marlena "Midnite" Metzger in 2007 when she took a part in some comedy shorts I was shooting with some other local video makers. A couple years later (2009) we began producing MIDNITE MAUSOLEUM which we basically give away free to any station that will run it (currently 60 nationwide). Although the show has achieved some degree of popularity, it certainly doesn't pay the bills other than it's own production expenses (and even that only occasionally); however, we feel it provides a fun viewing experience for it's viewers and has provided us with valuable production experience.</p> <p>Anyway, that brings us to today; Marlena and I have wanted to film Dawn Of Dracula for a while now. We both work full time jobs so we will be able to pick up most of it's week to week production expenses, but if we can even get part of the funding here, it will make things go much faster and smoother.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for reading :)</p>
