<p>My name is Billy Zimmerman, I live In the beautiful city that is Austin, Tx. I work as an art framer at Jo-anns. I actually love my job most days, handling and making great designs for pieces of art is quite rewarding sometimes. I live a fufilled life full of passion, and desire to work in the live music bussiness, not as a musician, but as a promoter/talent booker or a roadie for the one and only Flaming Lips would no doubt be a place of fulfillment. I enjoy music and all the arts and hold a major passion to push beyond a bland and unfifiled life. Live music is truly an inspiration and a major influence on my ideas and personality, I thrive at concerts, meeting strangers with shared passions from all walks of life is truly a wonderful experience. I am a army brat born in Barstow California and raised mostly throughout various cities in Texas. I experienced some of the major young adult development in Gemany going to school on an American base and living off. It was a wonderful and caring experience, it was not until we moved back to Texas mid jr year in high school that I noticed all the division and lack of responsibility the school system had. Being in such a tight community that was high school in Germany taught me many great things, to look beyong peoples persona and to be kind to anyone who is open to the idea of friendship. I learned many great lessons during that time that have formed the man I am today. I have juggled idea of a career, and always fell out of dedication having not graduated college and experienced different work forces I have finally set my sights on live music. It should have been a no brainer, but I had to move to Austin, TX to see those dreams come to life, and since the move I have taken any offering to help in any way with live music. I see myself thriving in the booking and production side of the live music experience and all my efforts and passion is starting to pay off. Life is only gettiing better each day.</p>
