My name is Kaleb Hill and I'm 27 years old. I have always had a special place in my heart for children that suffer with cancer. I am in the Army National Guard and I'm only able to grow a beard in between monthly drills. September 21st will be my last day in the Army (my contract is up), which means I will be able to grow a nice, big beard finally. However, as I was frollicking in the joy of being able to grow a nice majestic beard, my heart turned soft and I wanted to do something really nice for someone in need, or pain, or suffering. So I came up with a wonderful plan which is to grow my beard out (to about the length of my beard in the picture above) starting with a clean face on 9/22/12. My goal is to raise $5000 by Christmas Day 2012. I will then cut my beard off and present it and the money to a random child with cancer. They can do whatever they want to with this money. It's a means to ease their pain and suffering but for a moment and to bring joy and happiness to their life
