Pamela was educated at the University of North Dakota, where she first fell in love with performing and the collaborative nature of theater as a whole. After continued training in Chicago, she moved to Los Angeles in 2004 to pursue her dream of acting. She quickly found that she was almost as easily seduced by the thrills of creating from “behind the scenes” as in front of the camera. While she continues to pursue acting, she has also had the opportunity to stretch herself creatively in many other aspects. As a founding member of the Red Brick Road Theatre Company in NoHo, Pamela has done set, light and sound design and co-produced the company’s most recent production. She also acted in and co-produced, along with Peter Berube, the chilling web-series “Emily”, which is now being edited in to a short film and prepared for festivals.
Pamela is incredibly thrilled to be involved with the creation of “Behind Closed Doors”. She believes that we are not only products of our society, but that as artists, we have a responsibility to shape our society. It is her hope that this show, while at once being witty and enchanting and heartbreaking, will also inspire people to take an active role in stopping the injustices still encountered by so many around us.
