Turning It Inside Out!
<P><BR>Monstah Black studied choreography and performanace at Virginia Commonwealth University and New Media Art and Performance at Long Island University. He has performed internationally and chooses to create performances that blur the lines between styles and genres both musically and performatively. As an artisitic director/choreographer, his work has been supported by Dance New Amsterdam, Movement Research, Dance Theater Workshop, Dance Place (Washington DC) New Dance Alliance (NY), Studio 303 (Montreal) Dixon Place (NY), Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, George Washington University, DCAC (Washington DC) DC Commission on The Arts and Humanities.</P> <P> </P> <P>Many of Monstah's choreographic and improvisational skills we're honed by touring internationally with The Liz Lerman Dance Exchange of Tacoma Park Maryland and Maida Withers Dance Construction of Washington DC.
