I am J. Bernie. I've been interested in film since forever. Started watching rated R movies when I was about 7. It was true bonding going to the theaters with my dad as a child. Around that same age I saw a movie called "Go". When I got home I started to write a script. Of course this lasted 3 minutes but I realize looking back now that it was "Go" that sparked my interest in making a film. Ever since then, growing up, I wondered how films were created and how they got that "film look". My video camera at home could never achieve anything close to it. So as I got older I looked into creating that "film look" which made my interest grow even more. I never had a chance to attend film school so I started reading books upon books. Books about all aspects of filmmaking, from pre-production to distribution. I learned from books and from experience how to budget a film project, how to direct, how to produce, how to evoke emotions out of actors, how to give you a certain feel from motion and color, or lack there of. I've learned a bunch, and I learn something new everyday. I keep an open mind when I collaborate and look forward to creating!<div><br></div><div><br></div>
