Strategy, Social Enterprise, Poetry

I am a global strategic planner and writer seeking to explore what I call 'the moreness' of an individual, a brand and an organization. What else it could be, do, stand for, contribute; to take the traditional constructs of brand positioning, purpose, portfolio, identity & strategy and view these through the exciting (and necessary) lenses of good citizenry and social responsibility that today's consumer demands. I am looking for opportunities to reimagine the role and meaning brands can have in the lives of people and the communities they participate in.

I have healthy obsessions with people, culture, brands and high fidelity ideas. With nearly two decades of experience in global strategy, marketing and innovation, my expertise areas include qualitative research design and facilitation, brand strategy, concept and manifesto writing, communications and innovation pipeline development. I have worked in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe & the UK, and the UAE. Nimble and collaborative, I am comfortable in a range of situations including freelance consulting and longer-term commitments and tightly timed requirements with intense turn-around requirements.

I am particularly interested in applying the principles of social enterprise to brands and communication. I am co-founder and Director of the Women’s Worldwide Web (www.w4.org), a breakthrough not for profit social enterprise that harnesses the power of the digital space to empower women and their families around the world. I have been a mentor and am developing the organization’s mentoring program.

I am a poet and blogger who participates in the New York poetry and spoken word community. A dynamic strategist and generous collaborator, I am driven to unlock the better stories of individuals, brands and organizations to build our collective better story. I also do business through my brand, Strategic Stiletto
