Melissa Edwards, Program Director

Melissa Edwards has been dancing for over three decades. She received her BFA from Ohio University, her MA from NYU, and her MFA from Smith College, where she also served as Teaching Fellow. Melissa taught extensively at the high school and college levels in Pittsburgh, Seattle, Massachusetts, and in New York City. She also danced professionally, administrated for the arts, was commissioned for choreography, and began her own dance company.
