Co-founder and co-director of Pressure Cooker Arts
Aimee Shalan is co-director of Pressure Cooker Arts, a not-for-profit arts and advocacy organisation working with communities under pressure in the Middle East. She is also director of Fobzu (Friends of Birzeit University), a UK based charity supporting the right to education for Palestinians and a policy member of the Palestinian policy network Al Shabaka. She was formerly Director of Advocacy at Medical Aid for Palestinians and Head of Education at the Council for Arab British Understanding.
