Founder/Artistic Director of BALLROOM BASIX (BBX), Sidney Grant was raised by parents who valued academia and artistry in equal measure. Thanks to the emphasis they placed on both, Sid excelled scholastically and creatively. Decades later, his daily life is committed to deterring bullying among classmates in the diversity of schools BBX serves throughout NYC. BALLROOM BASIX is the only non-competitive Ballroom & Latin DOE dance program targeting SIXth grade, the 1st year of middle school.
