<p>In addition to serving as co-producer for American Arab, Rachel Pikelny is associate producing a film at Kartemquin titled A Good Man, a feature-length documentary following choreographer Bill T. Jones as he creates a dance-theatre piece for the Ravinia Festival based on the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln. A Good Man will air on PBS’ American Masters series in 2011. Prior to her work on A Good Man, Rachel served as development co-producer for On Beauty, a documentary following photographer Rick Guidotti, who changed his focus from fashion models to individuals with genetic conditions, challenging the way we see beauty.</p> <p>Before coming to Kartemquin, Rachel spent several years at Bill Kurtis Productions, where she produced the <span class="caps">CNBC</span> documentary series American Greed, which profiles various cases of corporate crime and investment fraud. Also at Kurtis Productions, Rachel associate produced nearly twenty episodes of the Emmy-nominated series Cold Case Files for A&E.</p> <p>In conjunction with the Pritzker Foundation, Kurtis Productions and The Illinois Holocaust Museum, Rachel produced videotaped interviews with the last three surviving Nuremberg prosecutors about the International Criminal Court issues of reconciliation following the Holocaust and the Cambodian genocide.</p> <p>Rachel received her Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University, where she became involved in the Medill chapter of the Innocence Project. The wrongful conviction murder case she and her classmates investigated is currently being considered for retrial.</p>
