Gee has 20 years experience as a filmmaker, educator, curator and documentary outreach strategist. His award-winning short films<span style="font-style: italic;"> rising, chemistries</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">soil</span> have screened at festivals around the world including Sundance, Rotterdam, SF International and others. Gee has worked at Film Arts Foundation, P.O.V. and Katahdin Productions, has taught at several universities including SF State University and the Univ. of Missouri, and been involved with outreach campaigns for <span style="font-style: italic;">Our House, Scout’s Honor, Blessed Is the Match, Taking Root</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">The End of America</span>. As a curator he's worked with the Mill Valley Film Festival, and founded the <span style="font-style: italic;">time:base</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">bullseye</span> series in Kansas City. Gee earned an M.F.A. in Film Production at San Francisco State University. He’s also a sperm donor/dad.<br>
