Weslie Ching is an emerging artist in the field of modern/contemporary dance. After ten years as a performer and teacher, she founded Weslie Ching Dance as a vehicle to explore her voice as a choreographer. Of late, she has been creating austere, technical, and highly physical dances that are are inspired by the intersection between concepts of modern physical cosmology and metaphysics/religion and employ auxiliary media such as video projection or set pieces.
