Lyra Theater is the creation of New York City-based artists Hope Chavez, Noam Shapiro, and Kyle Michael Yoder. As a constellation of artists, Lyra exists to provide an creative home for emerging theatermakers in New York City and to pay our artists for their valuable work. We make theater that challenges audiences, starts conversations, builds communities, and reflects the diversity of our world.
