The fight to study and preserve Ecuadorian Biodiversity
I am a biologist and my love for nature started back in my childhood when my parents took me every weekend to the rainforests, volcanos and coasts of Ecuador and Colombia. When I graduated from high school, I was trying to decide which career to chose: informatics, graphic design or biology. I decided to study biology but at the same time I used to work as a scientific illustrator for museums and universities and became a database programming expert. I still combine my three passions.
