<p>Lisa Ferguson is daughter of Jazz musician Maynard Ferguson, She is a documentary film maker and writer, working with folks who worked alongside MF for decades to complete this project:</p> <p>”Band members who have been like family for my whole life and who have gone on to not only be in the greatest jazz bands in the world but also with acts as diverse as Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones, Arrowsmith, Sinatra, Streisand, endless pop stars and others - they are the sidemen you hear everyday and the leaders in music education, teachers in the trenches, parents and children who’s lives music has changed. They are cultural icons like Ram Dass and psychedelic activists, as well as politicians, writers, movie stars and leaders of countries...All are participating to tell this story. I am just the glue, the grateful glue that is facilitating this incredible process.
