<p>Honneycombs is a band of harmony. Songwriting siblings James and April Combs (formerly of Arson Garden) are joined by Laurie Burnham to create lush, evocative, psychedelic yet intimate songs in a style they call “Mountain Meets the Third Eye”.</p> <p>James is the cool one. He lives in LA and has had his songs placed in a bunch of hip TV shows including “True Blood”, “Gossip Girl”, “Dexter” and “Six Feet Under”.</p> <p>April is the heart. She lives by the river in Ohio and pours her soul into her songs, singing with a voice that has, as award-winning singer-songwriter Carrie Newcomer says," a heartbreaking vulnerability – but she can sing powerfully out into the world in a way that most vocalists can only dream of doing".</p> <p>Laurie is the Jack-of-all-Trades who lives just across the river from April in Kentucky. Of course she intertwines fascinating harmonies through the Combs siblings songs, but if you need a beautiful mural painted, she can help you out. Or perhaps a giant metal sculpture welded together. No problem. A novel or two to read? Well, she is writing those. Maybe you want a cobb house to live in? And don’t get her started on yurts….</p> <p>Three states, one band.
