<p class=" description summary">Alisa Walton is a physical theatre performer with over 20 years of performance experience. She is Conservatory trained at the School of Physical Theatre, and Dance trained at some of Canada’s finest Dance Boarding Schools like the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, and Ottawa’s School of Dance under the direction of Celia Franca. Her first professional job took place onstage at Canada’s National Arts Centre at the age of thirteen. As part of the cast of TVOntario’s long running series Polka Dot Shorts ( As Marigold the RagDoll), she holds a Gemini award, She has also starred with “25 Days” lead clown Stephen La Frenie in Nelvana’s popular series Elliott Moose is on the Loose. Other credits include CBC’s the Adventures of Noddy, Cirque<br />Sublime, Zero Gravity Circus, Circus Agnes, Manna Productions, Young Peoples Theatre, The Stom Dance Foundation and the late Fringe Festival of Independent Dance. She has choreographed works for Swizzlestick Theatre, The Human Dances Festival, and for TVOntario.<br />Among teaching credits in private and public secondary schools, Alisa has done outreach work in Toronto with Circus Agnes, developing a short training programme for children at risk, and with the Kensington Youth Theatre Ensemble, as a Mask and Movement educator.
