<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Scott Hardie was born in Sacramento and raised in El Dorado Hills, California. He graduated from Sonoma State University where he received his BA in Communication Studies. Shortly thereafter, he began his film career, directing <em>Harvest Young</em>, which earned him local acclaim, premiering at the Sonoma International film festival.</span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><br /> <br /></span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Wanting to learn more, Scott attended graduate school at the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles. Here he was able to develop his writing and directing skills while also discovering a passion for sound design. At USC, Scott directed the award winning short film, <em>The Family</em>, which played throughout the film festival circuit.</span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><br /> <br /></span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Scott Hardie continues to write and direct fiction and documentary films that challenge audiences to think outside of the box and experience worlds they've never witnessed before.</span></p>
