I'm a lot of things, to a lot of people. To my wife, I'm a friend, lover and I probably nag too much. To my children, I am the purveyor of all things "not fair." To my friends, I am that one chick who hasn't seemed to master the art of the returned phone call. I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, a grandmother, a lesbian, a writer, an activist... it just depends on which day you catch me. Today, I'm a lover of life and an eternal optimist. That's a very good thing.
