I am a professional cellist living in Montgomery, Alabama, where I am doing a fellowship with the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra. I grew up outside Chicago and went to school at Columbia University, The Juilliard School, and the Yale School of Music. In addition to honing my cello skills, I have always been a devoted educator, be it teaching cello lessons, giving outreach presentations, or working in schools in NYC and Connecticut.

I strongly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to express themselves through music. Unfortunately, Montgomery has no local music school and only one elementary school offering strings instruction. As a result, few students in Montgomery County play stringed instruments, and those who do often receive inadequate training. That is why I have started the Montgomery Music Project.
