John Steck Jr. lived in Chicago, Boston, San Fran and Iceland. He earned a BFA at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design and an MFA at The San Francisco Art Institute. He exhibited at The Khaki Gallery, Photospace Gallery, Sheppard Fine Arts Gallery, The Hallway Gallery, The Center for Fine Art Photography, Rayko Photo Center, Southern Exposure, and SOMArts. He was a Teacher’s Assistant at Nesop, MassArt and Sfai. His book Fragments, Vol. One was selected as Best Books of 2010 on PhotoEye
