<div class="modal_dialog_body"> <div id="profile-bio-full"> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"><span style="font-family: Times; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">Ryan Hamelin is a recent graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the arts where he majored in Film and Television production. He is a veteran of the short form, having honed his skills by writing and directing short films including <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Intervention Studies</em> and <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Going Down</em>. He also produces, and is responsible for the short film <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Duplicate</em> as well as a handful of web series currently in development. He is also the founder and CEO of <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Climbing Higher Pictures LLC</em> through which he produces the majority of his projects.</span><span style="font-family: Times;"><br /></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"><span style="font-family: Times;">At <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Climbing Higher Pictures</em> we are committed to creating the sorts of films we enjoy watching, and look to new media in an effort to inform the future of the industry and the way movies are created. It is our understanding that a good story, told well, can be both thought provoking and entertaining, and we do not subscribe to the idea that a motion picture has to be one or the other to satisfy an audience.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="font-family: Times; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">In light of this belief, we are actively investigating creating content for the burgeoning 3D market, in an effort to expand independent movie-making into a venue exclusively occupied by the titans of the film industry. With new technology, it is possible for even a small budget to transport an audience to another world, and we feel it is our duty to explore the possibilities of the medium while leaving behind the limitations of the past.</span></p> </div> </div>
