Post-graduation she was hired by VFS to direct and edit two short films for the Port Shorts program of the Writers School.&nbsp;</font></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-CA"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial" size="2"><br></font></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-CA"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial" size="2">Leigh Ann’s background in stage - selected roles; Ophelia in “Hamlet” (Bottletree Productions), Claire in “The Maids” (Swimming with Sharks Productions) and Raine in “Habitat” (Domino Theatre), for which she won the Adjudicator's Award in 2008 Eastern Ontario Drama League Festival, lead to her to the film world where she became interested in directing.&nbsp;</font></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-CA"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial" size="2"><br></font></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-CA"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial" size="2">Leigh Ann has her own production company based in Kingston, Ontario called <a href="http://www.CuriousYou.com" title="CuriousYou" target="_blank">CuriousYou</a>.
