Michele has been singing since childhood and attended the High School of Music and Art in NYC. She fell in love with acting while at Sarah Lawrence College and was a part of the Workshop Theatre. She also began creative writing at SLC. She took a long hiatus from the business to focus on raising her daughter, and returned to acting in 2015. Getting Over is her first screenplay, and her directorial debut. She also self-produced and starred in it.
