Miles Merritt's directorial debut – the short film El Cochero (The Carriage Driver) – was produced in Mexico and was an official selection in 15 film festivals internationally and won 4 awards. His subsequent film, Una Causa Noble (A Noble Cause) was an official selection at 24 film festivals internationally and earned 3 awards. Miles was also contributing editor for the documentary "The Second Cooler" - a film narrated by Martin Sheen dealing with U.S. immigration policies. It won 5 awards.
