Carla Gover is a songwriter, dancer, and social justice activist from Kentucky, and a member of the folk band Zoe Speaks. She records, tours, and performs with her bands in addition to creating festivals and events to celebrate the traditional culture of Kentucky and build bridges with Latinx immigrants to the state. She is also an award-winning singer-songwriter, with wins at the Kerrville Newfolk Festival, Merlefest’s Christ Austin Song Contest, and the Flatrock Festival Songwriting Contest.
