I got my first ceramics job at the age of 16, mixing glazes in a professional studio in Colorado. After receiving a BA in ceramics from Goshen College, I put my roots down in Seattle. I spent 15 years managing a large non-profit organization before the clay called me back and, in 2015, I put my MFA to good use and founded Saltstone Ceramics. Since then I've been making pottery, teaching classes, and enjoying life in North Seattle with my husband, daughter, dog, and five chickens.
