Kristopher K.Q. Pourzal is a queer, mixed-race dance artist based in Brooklyn, NY. He uses movement, food/stuff, text, and song to make solo performances that feverishly disrupt his mind-body as a sculpture of socio-political conditioning. His work has been presented by such New York venues as Danspace Project, GIBNEY, Dixon Place, CPR, AUNTS, and Brooklyn Arts Exchange. He is a 2016-2018 Movement Research Artist-in-Residence. He holds an MFA in Dance from Arizona State University.
