I got to know Barbara from time spent at the Untitled Gallery in Sheffield where we'd literally bump into each other in the darkroom. We became firm friends and started to collaborate together. Barbara bequeathed me her archive which was a huge honour and also huge responsibility. Babs particulary wanted me to do something with her project "Lady's Bridge". I feel that now the time is right to put together a retrospective that does justice to Barbara and the breadth of her work.
