As an Asian American female, I never thought I could direct or create films because I never saw anyone like me in Hollywood. Well at age 30, I'm about to make a change by making my first short film, "READY." The short film follows a mentally-ill woman and her struggle to live in the present after running in with her past. I'm not waiting on Hollywood to create more complex and in depth roles for Asian Americans, I'm going to create them myself, one movie at a time.
