Based on a true story, Mi Madre, My Father is a searing drama that explores the theme of domestic violence, a topic close to Michelle's heart. Michelle has worked for over 15 years with women's shelters and organizing that aid victims of domestic violence. Inspired to write the script after hearing this incredible story- Michelle is passionate about bringing this story to light.
