Rebecca Dawn is an underground Hip Hop emcee who began recording and performing in Campeche, Mexico. 2012 has been an exciting year for Rebecca, opening shows for Mos Def, Dragon Fli Empire, Moka Only, Swollen Members, Son Real & Rich Kidd and DJ Young Mase. She co-founded the Hip Hop crew ContraVerse Collective, known in Calgary for their culture of freestyle rap at live shows, and became the official femcee for Girls on Decks, Calgary’s longest-running all-girl DJ Collective,
