I live up in the mountains on twenty acres with the various dogs, cats, chickens I've taken in. And of course, Billy and Jacob. It's that forty acres and a mule dream I had for ages. With all this space around me I thought I could bring them and not worry. They are thriving, looking fit and healthy but my savings account took an emptying for a family crisis and now I'm struggling to keep everyone healthy. I work part time in Santa Fe and then write and play with the critters.
