Sherina Rodriguez Sharpe is a Black/Filipina writer/educator who used to imagine herself as a shape-shifter. Through a history of straddling worlds, she has come to notice that most cultures have common threads that could easily allow interwoven patterns. Her work investigates cultural intersections. She is interested in the patterns that emerge when class, gender, race and religion overlap.
