MACHiNENOiSY is a contemporary dance company that endeavors to build a kinetic bridge to ideas and issues of contemporary relevance. The company sees dance as an art form capable of merging the spiritual with the technical, the sensual with the conceptual. One of the primary objectives of MACHiNENOiSY is to engage with diverse performance practices as a means to advance the practice of contemporary dance. They develop a distinct physical language for each production based on the ideas, stories or concepts they are investigating. They consciously assimilate pop culture, literature, and political ideas. The poetic musculairity of the choreopgraphy often invcorporates text to create performances that freely transgress distinctions between pure dance, character-based theatricality and performance art. The movement style and trademark partnering innovation of MACHiNENOiSY is a direct reflection of Daelik and Delia's years of investigation into the form of Contact Improvisation.
