Hanna Blaney

I am passionate about issues facing women and fascinated by feminine identity and the sociopolitical and historical position of women across cultures. In Fall of 2012, I traveled to Andhra Pradesh, India in order to research rural widows. After interviewing one-hundred and eleven of India’s poorest women, I was moved to action and co-founded SHELTER International. I am currently pursuing my MD/MPH at UTHSCSA.
