Gamer Symphony Orchestra at UMD
College Park, Maryland, United States
The first collegiate gamer symphony!
The student-run Gamer Symphony Orchestra is the first collegiate ensemble exclusively devoted to performing orchestral arrangements of video game music and using that music as an educational tool. We now boast a roster of more than 110 musicians, including 30 singers. We have played to packed houses three years in a row at UMD's largest performing arts venue, the 1,100-seat Dekelboum Concert Hall, and to over 1,000 at the Smithsonian American Art Museum!
