Director Ben Hackworth’s debut independent feature film ‘Corroboree’ was in official selection at Toronto, Berlin, Melbourne and Sydney International Film Festival. It was praised by Laurent Jacob of the Cannes Film Festival as ”enigmatic, playful, like some sensual and modern Mankiewicz movie, beautifully directed.” Ben's award winning short films have screened in festivals all over the world including Cannes, Edinburgh, Montreal, Sao Paulo. Ben was born and raised in Brisbane, Queensland.
