Dean is known the world over as “Langly”, one of The Lone Gunmen, which he played for nine seasons on the hit Fox TV series The X-Files and its spin-off series The Lone Gunmen. A world-renowned improvisational comic, as well as an accomplished painter and acclaimed artist, Dean founded Rational Exuberance Productions to tell stories that explore the mystery of life. Along with his producing partner, Phil Leirness, he hosts the long-running Chillpak Hollywood Hour program.
